That means hunting for a specific Automaton appearance might not go the way players want. Unfortunately, like the Googlide, quest rewards are random. This mainly consists of finding noticeboards, examining them, then finding the corresponding treasure. What makes getting this out of the way particularly good is the fact that, in addition to cosmetic options, it's also a part of completing the Old World Knowledge questline. Altogether, there are ten Automaton appearances. Even better, the robot friend is as customizable as the aquatic Googlide, with the world being filled with opportunities for the player to change its appearance. Thankfully, players receive one in the form of the Automaton, a miniature mechanical grasshopper. The expansive open-world RPG Biomutant would be incredibly lonely to explore without some sort of sidekick.
